On 17 July 2026, the School of Business and Communication Arts, (BCA) University of Phayao, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Tanyatip Kharuhayothin, Dean of the School of Business and Communication Arts, together with the school's executive team and staff representatives, participated in the ceremonial tribute and merit-making ceremony dedicated to King Naresuan the Great in celebration of the 16th Founding Anniversary of the University of Phayao. The ceremony was held at the King Naresuan the Great Monument Plaza, University of Phayao, to express loyalty and commemorate His Majesty's enduring grace and benevolence.
The ceremony included a traditional spirit-invoking ritual, a Buddhist merit-making ceremony dedicated to King Naresuan the Great, a floral tribute offering, and the royal tribute ceremony. University executives, members of the University Council, heads of government agencies, and representatives from partner organizations attended the event in unity.
On the same occasion, the University of Phayao presented honorary medals and recognition plaques to outstanding personnel and individuals who have made significant contributions to the University. Assistant Professor Dr. Prakobsiri Pakdeepinit, a lecturer at the School of Business and Communication Arts, was awarded an Honorary Medal in recognition of his service as a faculty dean who had served in the position for more than four consecutive years. The award acknowledges his sustained leadership, dedicated administrative service, and commitment to the continuous development of the University.
