On 2 July 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Tanyatip Kharuhayothin, Dean of the School of Business and Communication Arts (BCA), University of Phayao, participated in the Teacher Appreciation Ceremony for the Academic Year 2026 and the University of Phayao Honor Day 2026 held at Phaya Ngam Muang Auditorium, University of Phayao.
At 9:00 a.m., Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho, President of the University of Phayao, presided over the ceremony, attended by members of the University administration, faculty, and students. The event was organized to preserve the cherished Thai tradition of paying respect and expressing gratitude to teachers while fostering the enduring values of the teacher–student relationship.
Following the Teacher Appreciation Ceremony, the University held the University of Phayao Honor Day 2026 award presentation to recognize and honor outstanding students, personnel, and individuals who have made significant contributions to the University. A total of 1,575 recipients were recognized across various categories, including Outstanding Students, Students Who Brought Recognition to the University, Student Leaders, Professional Teachers, Mental Health Support Contributors, and Individuals Honored for Their Outstanding Contributions to the University.
