On 20 May 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Thanyathip Kharuhayothin, Dean of the School of Business and Communication Arts, University of Phayao, together with faculty members interested in research and international academic collaboration, participated in the “Researcher Development from Mentoring System: RDM The Series Season 7” held at UB001 Room, 99th Anniversary Building of Phra Ubali Khunupamachan, University of Phayao. The event was organized by the Division of Research Administration, University of Phayao.
The program aimed to enhance researchers’ capacity in building international research partnerships through a mentoring-based development approach. The event featured distinguished speakers from both international and Thai academic communities who shared their experiences and perspectives on establishing global research collaborations. Key sessions included “How to Make International Research Collaboration: In Perspective from Foreign Researchers” by Professor Vincent Van Waes from Université Marie et Louis Pasteur, France, and “How to Make International Research Collaboration: In Perspective from Thai Researchers” by Professor Dr. Sutthisa Thanoi from Naresuan University.
The sessions also highlighted essential factors for successful international research collaboration, including research networking, knowledge exchange, and institutional and funding support. These insights strongly align with the school’s commitment to advancing academic excellence, expanding international engagement, and producing impactful research for society.
